The Regional Theatre Network

The Regional Theatre Network consists of 19 professional producing theatres with their own venue in the Central Denmark Region. The network members represent a variety of performing arts: spoken drama, opera, dance and physical theatre performed for adults as well as young people.

During the period 2010-2012 the network is conducting a development project aimed at improving the conditions of theatre life in the region.

Our three sub-strategies are: Co-production and artistic development, internationalization and audience research/audience development.

The staff of the Regional Theatre Network consists of a coordinator and a researcher, who both cooperate closely with staff members from all theatres in order to conduct sub-projects and implement the overall strategy of developing theatre in the region.
